Details
This PD day has been organised in response to many requests from teachers in both the Maths and Science areas.
Many science teachers have been requesting information on the use of data logging equipment as a result of the need to conduct EEIs in all senior subjects. Electronic datalogging can be an effective tool for collecting information in these situations.
The use of graphing calculators is now firmly entrenched as a part of modern mathematics teaching. This day caters for both the novice and the experienced user of TI graphing calculators. The TI-83/84 series of calculators is much more than a calculator that draws graphs. This workshop will provide examples of how to use these calculators as an effective part of the teaching and learning process at all levels of mathematics.
Participants may mix and match across the range of maths and science workshops.
Participants will be provided with an extensive range of resources to use in their own classrooms.
