47 years spent at schools and still learning!
My passion for helping kids has always been fed by own passion for learning and now with my new found interest in Robotics and other science technologies, I’ve discovered a new way to ignite the spark of learning in students.
You soon realise you are not the fount of all learning and wisdom and that students won’t get all the answers to the questions from your head. So if you can’t beat them join them! My goals now for my Department and classes is to provide an environment where we learn together.
Courses we now offer are focussed on this student centred, constructivist approach. These courses include:
Science of Robotics (years 1 to 10)
Engineering and Technology (years 11/12)
Project Science (girls and boys classes)

Teaching 31 years
